Dr Chia Hui Ling is an experienced female plastic surgeon who adopts a personalised approach to every patient that she faces. With her friendly demeanour, attention to detail and strong credentials, Dr Chia has built up a strong track record and a trusting relationship with her patients.
While she is skilled in all types of plastic surgery, her special interests lie in cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction and paediatric plastic surgery. Dr Chia’s plastic surgery experience is diverse, spanning across Singapore, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
She has earned numerous accolades over the years, including prestigious fellowship awards from Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) and the JW Lee Centre for Global Medicine Fellowship Award in Plastic Surgery, as well as the AO Craniomaxillofacial Fellowship Award.
During her decade-long tenure at Singapore’s public health system, Dr Chia also received the Service from the Heart, Best Registrar and Best Medical Officer awards – a reflection of her commitment to high quality patient care.
Apart from her clinical practice, Dr Chia is well-published in scientific journals and book chapters, and is regularly featured in the media for her professional insight on plastic surgery.
As a result of her dedication to breast reconstruction, Female plastic surgeon, Dr Chia, co-founded Breast Reconstruction Awareness Singapore (BRAS), a non-profit society supporting breast cancer survivors on their reconstructive journey and raising public awareness. She is also a volunteer
plastic surgeon with Smile Asia, a global alliance of charities to treat facial deformities through surgical missions and public education.
Outside of her work, Dr Chia is married to an avid gardener, who is also a plastic surgeon; and they have two children who take part in their botanical and surgical banter regularly. Dr Chia enjoys cooking, yoga and is a budding botanical illustrator!
